See your progress
Know how much you can already read.
Misu underlines the words that aren’t in your flashcards yet, and shows how much of each post, video and article you already understand. Pick things just above your level. The number moves as you review.
Shows and videos

The little things
Built for learning, not just looking up.
Misu for Chrome knows which words you know, so it can mark the new ones, find examples you can read and keep count as you learn.
-
Examples you can read.
Misu picks example sentences where the word is the only one you don’t know yet.
-
Mark the words you know.
Tick a word you already know, or point at it and press K, and Misu stops underlining it. The app counts it too.
-
Keep the moment.
A saved word keeps the line it came from and, from a video, the frame at that moment.
-
Readings over every line.
Furigana over Japanese and pinyin over Chinese, in the subtitles and the transcript. Turn them off when you’re ready.
-
Fullscreen, too.
In fullscreen, the word you pick opens beside the video, with every meaning and more examples.
-
Keys for everything.
S saves the word, L the line and K marks it known. ← and → step through the lines, and Space plays on.
